House & Gift Fair, South America

Sao Paulo, Brazil – August 16th to 19th 2008

As informed to you earlier, FIEO is participating in the 37th House and Gift Fair, South America. This is a professional fair and largest of its kind in Latin America, bringing together Brazilian and International companies, manufacturers and importers, distributors and service providers. In a space of 56,000 sq mtrs of exhibition, the fair brings together roughly 870 exhibitors, coming from the Brazilian states and from 19 countries.

 

Date  : August 16th to 19th 2008 
Venue : Expo Center Norte, Sao Paulo, Brazil
Timings   : 9.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m.
Sale  : Not allowed in the fair 
Booth Cost : Built up booth of 9 sq mtrs @ Rs 100,000/- including one table, three chairs, identification sign, wall carpet, spot light.

  • Home Textiles: Bed, table, textiles & coverings  

  • Handicrafts: lighting, permanent flowers, decoration accessories, pictures & frames, decorative candles etc.    

  • Utility items: Tableware, crystal, porcelain, silverware, kitchen utensils, household cleaning                      

  • Electrical products: Portable electrical appliances, white line and electronic goods

  • Lifestyle products: Dining room, living room, home office, bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, swimming pools & gardens, rugs & coverings.

  • Gift items: Business gifts, decorative packaging, cards & fine stationary, suitcase & travel accessories

VISA & MDA

FIEO shall be issuing visa recommendation letter to the participants. Brazil is a focus country under the Focus: LAC programme of the Ministry of Commerce and MDA shall be available to eligible exporters as per the MDA guidelines up to a maximum financial ceiling of Rs 1,80,000/- towards airfare (economy excursion) and booth charges. Exporters who are members of Export Promotion Councils are also eligible for MDA grant provided other conditions are satisfied.
