& Investment Mission /BSM to Trinidad &
Tobago

We are happy to inform that FIEO in association with the High Commission of Trinidad & Tobago is organizing a Trade & Investment Mission/BSM to Trinidad & Tobago from 2nd to 7th June 2008.
During this mission, one to one meetings of Indian Business houses will be arranged with the Government Agencies and Private Sectors. The detailed programme is enclosed.
It
may be mentioned that Trinidad & Tobago is strategically located and is
the most dynamic economy in English speaking Caribbean and has attracted one
of the highest rates of FDI in the region. Indian business houses could
consider setting up their base there for export to the Latin America, United
States, European Union and other CARICOM markets. Trinidad & Tobago is
the Gateway to CARICOM and Latin America.
Air
Travel & Stay Arrangement
Economical
package for airfare is being worked out, the cost of which shall be borne by
the participants. Participants making their own arrangements may inform in
advance.
Regarding
Hotel following stay options for seven nights stay with breakfast and return
airfare to Tobago has been worked out, the cost of which has to be borne by
the participants as below:

MDA
& Visa
MDA
assistance to the tune of Rs 1 Lakh towards airfare is available to eligible
exporters as per the MDA Guidelines of the Ministry of Commerce.
FIEO
shall be recommending visa of participants to the High Commission.
Food
& Local Transportation – Complimentary
Lunch,
dinner and local transportation for hotel-venue-hotel (only for participants
who book Hotel through nominated agency) shall be arranged complimentary.
Members
are invited to take advantage of this opportunity and confirm their
participation to join Trade & Investment Mission and BSM. Interested
members may send the duly filled in enclosed form in original along with an
amount of Rs 25,000/- towards BSM charges. You
