Get-together with Ambassadors
in Niryat Bhawan
FIEO arranged a get-together of ambassadors and high commissioners of foreign missions based in New Delhi on 15th November at Niryat Bhawan. Senior government officials from the ministries of commerce, finance and external affairs and prominent exporters were also invited to the ball.
On the occasion, a cultural show titled "Colours of India" was also organized. Renewed dance artists performed Kathak (North India), Kathakali (South India), Lavani (Maharashtra), Stick Dance (Nagaland), Dhol Cholam (Manipur) and Bhangra (Punjab). Besides, there was a group of Rajasthani folk performers like ‘kachhi ghori team’, puppet show artists, magicians, parrot astrologers, fire eaters, stilt walkers, walking puppets etc. A Folk Bazar showcasing Indian traditional products like mehendi-wali, churiwala, toy maker, handicrafts etc. was also organized side-by-side.
The Missions which attended the Meet included Angola, Argentina, Afghanistan, Botswana, Bahrain, Belgium, Burkina Faso, Czech Republic, Colombia, Cambodia, Cyprus, Denmark, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Egypt, France, Ghana, Hungary, Korea, Kyrgyz Republic, Kenya, Lao PDR, Luxembourg, Mozambique, Mongolia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Nigeria , Poland, Philippines, Panama, Romania, Russian Federation, Slovak Republic, Senegal, Saudi Arabia, Tanzania, Trinidad & Tobago, UAE, Zimbabwe and Zambia.
The dignitaries took a full view of Niryat Bhawan in the company of FIEO President Mr. Ganewh Kumar Gupta who acquainted them with the facilities available in the Federation’s own office Niryat Bhawan.
