India has been declared as a partner country for 2nd Modexpo, the international exhibition of textiles, ready-made clothes, leather wear and goods, furs, footwear and accessories to be organised by Romexpo from March 15 to18, 2007.
In view of the strategic location of Romania in the Eastern Europe and the success stories of many Indian ventures there, FIEO is organizing Indian Pavilion at Modexpo in Hall No 14.
For the benefit of Indian participants, FIEO shall also be embarking on a separate Advertisement and Publicity campaign encompassing major countries in the EU. FIEO’s campaign will highlight all the Indian companies participating under the India Pavilion
SCOPE
Yarns & Textiles: Fibers, Yarns, Fabrics
Apparels: Mens, Ladies, Children wear, others
Bed & Bath: Home Textiles, Furnishings, Bath & Bath products
Leather Items: Leatherwear, Shoes, Accessories
Gems & Jewellery: Accessories
PARTICIPATION COST
Rs. 50,000/- per company (for 9sqm stall space)
Indoor standard stand building (includes walls on the occupied sides, electric endowments, general moquette, grafics on fascia board & furniture (1 table, 2 chairs, 1 waste paper basket, 1 ashtray, 2 spotlights, 1 socket 220 V).
Participating companies are eligible for MDA grant (as per the guidelines of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry) under the General Area Category.
CATALOGUE SHOW
Companies may also send their catalogues, brochures, cds, etc, which will be displayed in a separate stall.
Cost: Rs. 5000/- for 1.5kg (The courier charges for additional weight shall have to be borne by the participating company)
PUBLICITY & ADVERTISING
Press and advertising campaign is undertaken by the organizer (Romexpo) in connection with the event. Exhibitors are invited to join in this campaign by advertising the exhibition in their own leaflets, press releases and advertisements. The Press Centre of the exhibition is open during the exhibition daily programme, to provide information, news items and photographs to the media. Exhibitors are invited to supply suitable publicity material in English (preferably not exceeding 200 words) together with adequately captioned photographs for display and distribution. Conditions shall be discussed and agreed with the Press Centre.
