Industry Minister of Uttar Pradesh vows to provide hassle-free environment to exporters from the state. Inaugurating the four-day training programme organized by FIEO on ‘Export Marketing Procedures & Documentation’ on 11th September at Lucknow, Mr. Badshah Singh said that his government was committed to ensure that export efforts from the state were not crippled by red tape and archaic rules.
More than 70 participants from various industrial & exporting units joined the programme organized by the Federation in association with Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and UP Export Promotion Bureau. This was the second programme organized by FIEO at Lucknow on the above subject.
The Northern Region Chairman of FIEO, Dr. R. K. Dhawan during his address on the occasion observed that despite huge potential for export of chikan fabrics, hosiery items, dress materials, plastic goods, light engineering goods and auto components, the capital city lagged behind in terms of realizing its export potential. He hoped that the programme would help boost export of these items from Lucknow.
Towards the end of the programme, the Jt. Export Commissioner of UP, Mr. Prabhat Kumar gave away certificates to the participants.

IntFair XVII, 2007 The Centre for Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries, popularly known as CBI, organized the IntFair XVII, 2007 Seminar at Rotterdam from August 29 to September 7, 2007. 26 participants from India, Ethiopia, Bangladesh, Philippines, Montenegro, Albania, Pakistan, Vietnam, Ghana, Moldova, South Africa & Nepal attended the Seminar. FIEO was represented at the seminar by its Deputy Director Mr. H.C. Pant. The Seminar aimed to educate representatives of trade promotion organisations in developing countries on organizing collective participations in European trade fairs in an efficient way. |
