In
the present situation of hardships being faced by the exporters due to
the appreciating Rupee coupled with increased competition in the
international market, it has become pertinent for the exporters to
resort to best management practices through well documented processes,
efficient quality control systems, quality certification etc. to
sustain their export business.
FIEO
has thus planned to organize
a
seminar
on
"Quality
Certification: An Imperative for Sustenance
in
International Market and the Steps for Achieving it"
as
per the following schedule:
Day
& Date: Saturday, January 19, 2007
Time: 6:00
p.m.
Venue: Hotel
Taj Ganges, Varanasi
The
Seminar will not only provide insight into the requirement of quality
in the international market but will also share the benefits which
accrue to the implementing company in terms of enhanced productivity,
quality and thus profitability. The seminar will detail the steps
required for implementing quality systems and thus achieve quality
certification.
In
order to help the exporters to go for quality certification the
Government of Uttar Pradesh extends subsidy upto Rs.1,00,000/-. We
have requested the UP Export Promotion Bureau to share the various
schemes available from the government and the Government’s future
course of action to promote quality. Experts from TUV Rheinland India
P. Ltd., an internationally recognised quality Certification Body, and
also other experts in the field will address the seminar. The seminar
