Workshop on

Advanced Communication Strategies at Bangalore

 

A Workshop on Advanced Communication Strategies was organized by FIEO in association with FKCCI on 24th May at Bangalore. The workshop focused advanced communication strategies using the science of NLP and the Science of super learning and Alpha mind control methods. More than 40 exporters participated in the Workshop. 

While welcoming the participants, Mr. D. Muralidhar, President-Elect, FKCCI highlighted the importance of effective communication and strong leadership for achieving business objectives. Reading, writing and conferencing are three essential requirements of a good leader, he said.

Mr. M.S. Balaji, Chief Officer – HR, Siemens Information Systems Limited, Bangalore, in his inaugural address said that it was very important to function as a cohesive team for achieving business goals.

Ms. Raj Bhasin, Chairman, BS Talent Solutions (P) Ltd, in her address stressed on the need for skill development, especially communication skill. Even for job selection in any organization, excellent communication skill is treated as one of the basic prerequisites, she said.

Mr. Neeraj Kumar from Next Step Consultant made a technical presentation on advanced communication strategies with a focus on understanding the power of internal and external communication.

Issues and Implementation of UCP 600

 

FIEO (Northern Region) is organizing an Interactive Session on Letter of Credit: Issues and Implementation of UCP 600 as per the following schedule:

The objective of the Session is to apprise the participants of the issues and implications of New UCP 600, which has already been put in force from July 1, 2007. Prof Harkirat Singh from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi, who is an expert on the subject, will make a detailed presentation. His presentation will be followed by question and answer session.

 

The Session will help the exporters to understand the implications of new UCP rules and the intricacies of opening L/Cs with the banks.
