during December, 2008

DGFT 

1. Public Notice No.111(RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 2^ndDecember, 2008 makes amendment in ANF 2B-Aayat Niryaat Form for Import of Restricted Items.

2. DEPB Scheme shall continue till 31^stDecember, 2009 as per Public Notice No.125 (RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 3^rdJanuary, 2008)

3. List of High Value Added Manufactured Goods under Table 9 of Appendix 37D notified vide Public Notice No.114(RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 10^thDecember, 2008.

4. List of New Gram Udyog and Other Products under Table 15 of Appendix 37A notified vide Public Notice No.115(RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 15^thDecember, 2008.

5. Public Notice No.116(RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 15^thDecember, 2008 restores VKGUY benefits for Export of Milk and value added milk products covered by specified Exim Codes.

6. DEPB benefits against export of milk, milk products and Caseil restored vide Public Notice No.117 (RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 16^thDecember, 2008.

7. Public Notice No. 118(RE-2008)/2004-2009 dated 19^thDecember, 2008 notifies Amendments/Corrections in the Input Output Norms in respect of product group – Food Products.

8. Public Notice No. 119(RE-2008)/2004-2009 dated 24^thDecember, 2008 notifiesthe last date as 30.6.2009 for filing of Application for SFIS of previous financial year. For current financial year, the last date shall be 12 months from the end of application frequency period.

9. Staples in Strips (ITC (HS) Code 8505200) is included in the Appendix 37D, Table 2 (Sports Goods, Fire Works and Stationery Items) for benefit under Focus Products Scheme, vide Public Notice No.120(RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 24^thDecember, 2008.  

10. Public Notice No.121(RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 24^th December, 2008 makes amendment in Appendix 37D, in Table 10 (Sl. NO.10.9 and 10.10) for Market Linked Focus Products.

11. EXIM Club is included in the list of agencies authorized to  issue Certificate of Origin vide Public Notice No.122(RE-2008/2004-2009 dated 30^thDecember, 2008. 

12. Public Notice No.123(RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 30^thDecember, 2008 makes changes in addresses of EEPC India (formerly Engineering Export Promotion Council) by amending Appendix 2 (list of Export Promotion Councils/Commodity Boards. 

13. Notification No.65(RE-2008/2004-2009 dated 1^stDecember, 2008 amends the Para 2.1 of FTP, accordingly no Kimberley Process Certificate shall be accepted/ endorsed/ issued for import and export of rough diamonds from/to Venezuela

14. Export Policy for natural Honey has been announced vide Notification No.66(RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 1^stDecember, 2008.

15. Notification No.67(RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 1^stDecember, 2008 prohibits theImport of Chocolates and chocolate products and candies/confectionary/food preparations with milk or milk solids as an ingredient from China for six months.

16. Import Policy for the item, Medium Density Fibre Board (MDF) under Exim Code Nos. 44111200, 44111300 and 44111400 shall be Free (instead of Restricted) vide Notification No. 68(RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 4^thDecember, 2008.

17. Ban on export of Non-basmati rice shall not be applicable to export of 10,000 to 15,000 MTS non-basmati rice to Nepal as per Notification No.69 (RE-2008)/2004-2009 dated 5^thDecember, 2008.

18. The current Foreign Trade Policy shall remain in force till further amendments unless otherwise specified as per Notification No.70(RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 8^thDecember, 2008.

19. Prohibition on export of wheat shall not be applicable to export of 950 MT to Myanmar through NAFED and 10,000 MT to Nepal through MMTC as per Notification No.71 (RE-2008)/2004-2009 dated 10^th December, 2008.

20. Import Policy for the item, Elastomeric under Exim Code No.5402 44 00 shall be Free (instead of Restricted) vide Notification No. 72(RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 16^th December, 2008.

21. Export Policy for Cement under specified HS Code shall be Free vide Notification No. 73(RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 19^th December, 2008.

22. Policy Circular No.43(RE-08)/2004-09 dated 2^ndDecember, 2008 issues guidelines/clarification for refixing of Annual Average Export Obligation for the year 2007-08.

23. Policy Circular No.44(RE-08)/2004-09 dated 4^thDecember, 2008 issue clarification regarding Refund of TED to manufacturers of vehicles for deemed export supplies to EPCG Authorisation holder through their dealers.

24. Policy Circular No.46(RE-08)/2004-09 dated 5^th December, 2008 issue clarification regarding Import Policy of items classified under Exim Code 5402 44 00 – Elastomeric, 5402 47 00 – Other, of Polyesters.

25. Policy Circular No.47(RE-08)/2004-09 dated 8^thDecember, 2008 issue clarification regarding refund of Service Tax paid on the services provided by a Clearing and Forwarding Agent in relation to Export Goods.

26. Policy Circular No.48(RE-08)/2004-09 dated 19^th December, 2008 issue clarification regarding Import of Truks/Tippers/Dumpers under EPCG Scheme.

27. Policy Circular No.49(RE-08)/2004-09 dated 8^thDecember, 2008 clarify regarding transitional arrangements in respect of items whose import has been restricted vide Notification No. 63 & 64.
