Some of the Important Announcements of the Government during February, 2007 Value Added Coir Products have been included in the Appendix 37D for benefit under Focus Product Scheme vide Public Notice No. 83(RE-2006)/2004-09 dated 7thFebruary, 2007. Amendments/Corrections in the Input Output Norms in respect of product group – Chemicals & Plastics have been notified by Public Notice No. 84(RE-2006)/2004-09 dated 9thFebruary, 2007 Public Notice No.85(RE-2006)/2004-09 dated 23rdFebruary, 2007 makes amendment in Appendix-2 of HBP Vol. I regarding change of Address of Federation of Indian Export Organisations. Regional Licensing Authorities at Bhopal, Delhi, Hyderabad & Mumbai will issue necessary permissions for export of Dollar Gram (Chana) as per Public Notice No. 86 and No.87 dated 27thFebruary, 2007 and 28thFebruary, 2007 respectively. Import of (Maize (Corn): Other) Exim Code 1005 90 00 will be allowed freely till 31stDecember, 2007 as per Notification No. 43(RE-06)/2004-09 dated 9thFebruary, 2007. Exports of Wheat and certain specified products of Wheat from India have been prohibited as per amendments in Chapter 2 of Schedule 2 of ITC (HS) Classifications of Exports and Import items 2004-09 vide Notification No.44 (RE-2006)/2004-09 dated 9thFebruary, 2007. I Exports of Milk and certain specified products of Milk from India Wheat have been prohibited as per amendments in Chapter 2 of Schedule 2 of ITC (HS) Classifications of Exports and Import items 2004-09 vide Notification No.45 (RE-2006)/2004-09 dated 9thFebruary, 2007. Export of Meat of Sheep has been allowed as per amendments in Chapter 2 of Schedule 2 of ITC(HS) Classifications of Exports and Import items 2004-09 vide Notification No. 46(RE-2006)/2004-2009 dated 20thFebruary, 2007. Notification No. 47 (RE-2006)/2004-2009 dated 29thDecember 2006 prohibit direct or indirect exports and imports of the specified items to/from the Iran. Prohibition shall not apply to export of Dollar Gram (Chana) executed under the specific permission granted by DGFT, as per Notification No. 48 (RE-06)/2004-09 dated 20thFebruary, 2007.
