Some Important Announcement of the Government during the month of June 2010

1. Public Notice No.71/2009-2014 dated 3rd June, 2010 makes changes in address of Joint DGFT, Nagpur by amending Appendix 1 (list of Regional Licensing Authorities and their Jurisdiction).
2. Public Notice No.72/2009-2014 dated 3rd June, 2010 makeschanges in address ofService Export Promotion Council by amendingAppendix 2 (list of Export Promotion Councils/Commodity Boards).
3. Public Notice No.73/2009-2014 dated 8th June, 2010 notify Amendments in the Input Output Norms in respect of export productGroups Chemicals & Allied Products.
4. Public Notice No.75/2009-2014 dated 15th June, 2010 dated 15th June, 2010 allocatesquantity of 10,000 MTs of white Sugar for export of CXL Concessions Sugar to European Union (EU)for the fiscal year 2009-2010 (October, 2009 to September, 2010), with stipulated condition.
5. Name of Indian Oilseeds & Produce Exporters Association EPC (IOPEA) is replacedwith Indian Oilseeds and Produce Export Promotion Council in Appendix 4-C (List of Agencies Authorised to issue Certificate of Origin – Non-Preferential) vide Public Notice No.76/2009-14 date 29th June, 2010.
6. On import of Galvanized Steel Sheets (plain and corrugated) applicable BIS Standard is IS-277 as per Notification No.48/2009-2014 dated 15th June, 2010.
7. Notification No.49/2009-2014 dated 24th June, 2010 extends the prohibition on import of milk and milk products from China for a period of six months from 24th June, 2010, anduntil further orders.
