DGFT NOTIFICTION/CIRCULARS

1.Exports of 60 MTs Pulses are allowed for exports to Maldives vide Notification No. 11(RE-2010)/2009-2014 dated 3^rd December, 2010.

2.Export contracts of Cotton will now be registered with DGFT as per Notification No. 12(RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 16^th December, 2010. Earlier such registrations were with the Textile Commissioner.

3.Notification NO. 13(RE-2010)/2009-2014 dated 22^nd December, 2010 prohibits on export of all varieties Onion till further orders.

4.Notification No. 15(RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 29^th December, 2010 restricts export of Cotton Yarn which will now be allowed only against Export License.

5.Public Notice No. 17/2009-2014 dated 06/12/2010 allow duty free import of samples upto Rs. 3,00,000/-.Earlier this facility was limited to Rs. 1,00,000/- only.

6.Public Notice No. 18/RE-2010/2009-2014 dated 15^th December, 2010 announce allocations of 8200 MTs of Raw Sugar (HS Code 1701 00 00) out of non-levy quota of 2010-11 for export under Tariff Rate Quota to USA.

7.Additional 2% Duty Credit Scrip for Export of Grapes under VKGUY Scheme is announced vide Public Notice No. 19/2009-2014 (RE-2010) dated 23^rd December, 2010.

8.Policy Circular No. 05(RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 2^nd December, 2010 – Clarifies exemption form prohibition of export of certain edible oils mentioned therein.

9.Policy Circular No. 06(RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 16^th December, 2010 – discuss about conditions and modalities for registration of contracts of cotton with DGFT to be notified.

10.Policy Circular No. 07(RE2010)/2009-14 dated22^nd December, 2010 speaks about conditions and modalities (to be notified) for application for grant of Export License for export of Cotton Yarn.

11.Policy Circular No. 08 dated 22^nd December, 2010 prescribe list of Product Groups showing percentage decline in exports during 2009-10 for availing relief as provided under 5.11.2. of Hand Book of Procedure Vol. I (2009-14).

12.Policy Circular No. 09 (RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 29^th December, 2010 – notify the conditions and modalities for registration of Contracts with DGFT for export of Cotton.

13.Policy Circular No. 10(RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 31^st December, 2010 – introduce additional facility on DGFT’s website (http:/dgft.gov.in) for enabling members of trade to file their IEC applications “on-line” with effect from 1.1.2011.
