Important Announcement of the Government during the
month of September.2011
1. Notification No. 69(RE-2010)/2009-2014 dated 1st September, 2011notify the annual quota for import of marble from Bhutan is 5,882 MTs.
2. Notification No. 70(RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 7th September, 2011 notify Minimum Export Price of Onion (all varieties) including Bangalore Rose Onions and Krishnapuram Onions.
3. Notification No. 71(RE-2010)/2009-2014 dated 9th September, 2011 notify that all varieties of non-Basmati rice have been made free for export out of privately held stocks.
4. Notification No. 72(RE-2010)/2009-2014 dated 9th September, 2011 notify that export of wheat has been made free.
5. Notification No. 73(RE-2010)/2009-2014 dated9th September, 2011 notify that the export of all varieties of onions is prohibited with immediate effect till further orders.
6. Notification No. 74(RE-2010)/2009-2014 dated 12th September, 2011 notify the Policy for export of cotton {ITC(HS) Code 5201 & 5203) with continue to be free w.e.f. 1st October, 2011.
7. The Prohibition on export of onions is withdrawn and export of all varieties of onion is now allowed vide notification No. 75(RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 20th September, 2011.
8. Notification No. 76(RE-2009-14)/2011 dated 23rd September, 2011 permitsthe export of non-Basmati rice by PSU & Government Organisations under Food Aid Programme and under bilateral Agreement between India & Maldives.
9. Notification No. 77(RE-2009-14)/201 dated 28th September, 2011 extends the ban on export of edible oils upto 30.09.2012and exemption for export of edible oil in branded consumer packs with a ceiling of 10,000 tons from 1st November, 2011 to 31st October, 2012.
10. Policy Circular No. 40/RE-2010(2009-2014) dated 9th September, 2011 notify online transmission of DES (Advance Authorization), EPC0G and DEPB at ICD Karur (INKAR 6) w.e.f. 12thSeptember, 2011.
11. Public Notice No. 76/(RE-2010)/2009-2014) dated 2nd September, 2011 makes Modification in SION B-149 under Electronics Product Group.
12. Public Notice No. 77(RE-2010)/2009-2014 dated 05th September, 2011 amends in Appendix 37-D, Table – 2, Sl. No. 11 of Handloom to Handmade.
13. Public Notice No. 78(RE02010)/2009-14 dated 22nd September, 2011 permit export of raw sugar to USA of 5,175 under Tariff Rate Quota.
