Some of the Important Announcements made by the CBEC, Government of India during the month of June 2009
1. The Republic of Senegal is added for Duty concession on import of specified goods from the specified least developed countries vide Notification No.59/2009-Customs dated 9th June, 2009.
2. Notification No.70/2009-Customs dated 19th June 2009 extend tariff concession on specified goods when imported into India from Singapore.
3. Bagdogra (West Bengal) is appointed as Port for unloadingof imported goods and loading of export goods or any class of goods by Notification No.67/2009-Customs (NT) dated 15th June, 2009.
4. Circular No.18/2009-Customs dated 8th June, 2009 issue clarification relating to Designation of customs clearance facilities as ICDs or CFSs.
