We are happy to inform you that FIEO is planning to organize “India Expo” at Nairobi, Kenya from 27th to 29th March 2015

 Why Kenya?

India is the second largest exporter of goods to Kenya after UAE. During the last year, India’s share in Kenya’s total Imports were 18.7 per cent. The United Arab Emirates, with goods which contribute 24.3 per cent of total imports of Kenya is the largest source of imports– a position it holds mainly because of the large quantities of petroleum it supplies to East Africa. Kenya mainly imports textiles, pharmaceuticals, industrial machinery, vehicles, electronic and semi-processed goods, household goods, medical equipment and drugs, pharmaceuticals, electrical goods, food-processing machinery, special purpose motor vehicles and trucks among others. Kenya is a net importer of capital goods such as petroleum products, machinery and equipment, vehicles and non-food industrial supplies. 

  The Exhibition

FIEO will be setting up India Expo focusing multi products sectors for highlighting the potentials of Indian products and Services. This is an exclusive “India Show” and the expected visitors including leading importers and distributers in Kenya and other East African countries. The exhibition is being organized by FIEO & Grow Exhibitions, Dubai with the support form Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India and High Commission of India, Nairobi.

 Participation Fee

Standard Booth of 9 sqm with Partitions, Carpeted Floor, Single Phase socket, Fascia with Company Name in English, One Information Counter, 2 Chairs, Florescent Light, One Waste Paper Basket.
 
 Booth Charges:
For FIEO Members                          - Rs.92,000/-
For Non FIEO Members                  - Rs.98,000/-
 
The following will be provided complimentary by FIEO if registration received on or before 15th January 2015:
  • Hotel Stay for 4 nights/5 days on single accommodation for each booth.
  • Complimentary breakfast from hotel
  • One Dinner meeting
  • Airport pick up/drop to hotel / Venue
The programme will be under MAI.
 
Booth Charges after 15th January 2015:
For FIEO Members                          - Rs.115,000/-
For Non FIEO Members                  - Rs.125,000/-

 Travel/ Visa Info

For Indian Citizens, visa is available on the airport and cost will be US$ 50 only. However, Visa requirements vary from time to time and you are advised to check on prevailing status well ahead of travel.  Airport departure tax is payable by the visitors in foreign currency only.
Participant has to make their own arrangements for visa & travel. FIEO will issue invitation letter and Visa Recommendation Letter for facilitating the issuance of Visa.

 Registration

As this subsidized booth is available only to limited participants which will be allotted on first cum first served basis, you may confirm your interest to participate in the event by filling the registration form and sending back to this office latest by 15th January 2015.  Confirmation along with the payment request will be received by you on receipt of the registration.  Please book your booth by sending your expression of interest to take part in the exhibition to Ms Selvanayagi, Asst.
