RESULT OF THE ELECTION
The successful candidates in the election to the FIEO Managing Committee duly conducted to fill in vacancies as per FIEO Rules are as follows:-
1. In the Associate Members category of Recognised Export & Star Export Houses (on All India basis), two valid proposals for one vacancy were received for which elections were held as per Rules. In this category, Shri Navratan Samdria of Oriental Carpet Centre, Srinagar is declared elected.
2. In the Associate Members for Regional Chairman (Southern Region), two valid proposals for one vacancy were received for which elections were held as per Rules. In this category, Shri Walter D’Souza of Fernande Brothers, Mangalore is declared elected
The Announcement of result will formally be declared at the Re-adjourned 47th Annual General Meeting. This is subject to outcome of the decision of the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi in W.P.(C) 352/2013.
