FIEO to Launch Digital Marketing Awareness Program for Exporters
Will help exporters understand Web, mobile, and online social media applications for export operations
The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), which promotes the business interests of Indian exporters in the global markets, is conducting an advanced digital marketing training program for corporate executives on December 10, 2012 at Niryat Bhawan, New Delhi. The objective of the program is to impart necessary skills to the executives in this emerging technology field so that they could expand their operations particularly in the export markets.
The program will be extremely useful for company CEOs, CMOs, marketing managers, HR heads, and other senior management people responsible for business development of their organizations.
It is being organized with technical and content support from Raman Media Network (RMN) Company, which is a leading integrated media company using traditional as well digital media for providing its content services across the globe.
"In today's digitally connected world, most consumers are spending a lot of their time in the computer technology-driven cyberspace. This skills development program will empower exporters to understand the latest digital marketing techniques, apply them to attract those consumers, and expand their operations in the global markets," said Mr. Ajay Sahai, Director General & CEO, FIEO.
The one-day training /orientation program is structured in different modules including Marketing Principles, Need for Digital Marketing, Digital Marketing Channels, Digital Marketing Components, Online Social Media Management, Digital Advertising Platforms, Digital Ad Pricing, Search Engine Marketing, Digital Impact Analysis, and Digital Content Management.
The program will be anchored and conducted by Rakesh Raman, who has over 20 years of experience in the technology markets as a technologist, senior tech journalist, analyst, and columnist. Rakesh has also been associated with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) as a digital media expert to help businesses use technology for brand marketing and business development.
"The need for digital marketing is more pronounced today because traditional marketing means like TV, newspapers and events have limited reach. In the ongoing digital revolution, today there are nearly 2.2 billion global Internet users, more than 4 billion mobile users, over 1.5 billion social media users, and the number of Websites and blogs is nearly 1 billion. So, they need to acquire digital marketing skills to promote their businesses across the globe.
